Jeera futures trade lower on profit booking

Jeera futures traded lower on NCDEX, due to profit booking by participants after the prices peaked counting on improving physical domestic and exports demands from China and Bangladesh. Moreover, anticipation of good output with the good irrigation facilities in cumin producing areas also added downside.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 20575.00, down by 0.92% or Rs 190.00 from its previous closing of Rs 20765.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2790 lots.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 21130.00, down by 0.61% or Rs 130.00 from its previous closing of Rs 21260.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4695 lots on NCDEX.
