Jeera futures trade lower on profit booking

Jeera futures traded lower on NCDEX due to profit booking by market participants triggered by strong export demand. Besides, higher availability in the physical market also added downside.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 15640.00, lower by 0.06% or Rs 10.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15650.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2385 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 15590.00, down by 0.03% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15595.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3345 lots on NCDEX.
