Jeera futures trade lower on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded lower on NCDEX, as traders locked-in gains at prevailing higher price levels amid muted demand in the spot market. Besides, higher arrivals also pressurized the cumin rates at future market.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 16350.00, down by 0.24 % or Rs 40.00 from its previous closing of Rs 16390.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1428 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 16080.00, down by 0.12 % or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 16100.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5391 lots on NCDEX.
