Jeera futures trade lower on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded lower on NCDEX as speculators trimmed positions to book profits at prevailing levels amid lower domestic and exports demand. Besides, ample stock positions following higher supplies from the producing belts triggered the downtrend.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 15100.00, down by 0.13% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15120.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5286 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 15550.00, dripped by 0.19% or Rs 30.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15580.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3207 lots on NCDEX.
