Jeera futures trade higher on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded higher on NCDEX on expectation of pickup in export demand at the spot market. Further, reports of lower output in other major producing countries-Syria and Turkey too fuelled the uptrend. 

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 17330.00, up by 0.26% or Rs 45.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17285.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 9480.00 lots.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 17515.00, up by 0.20% or Rs 35.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17480.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 7452.00 lots on NCDEX.
