Jeera futures trade higher on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded higher on NCDEX on expectation of pickup in export demand at the spot market. Further, tight stocks following lower supply from the producing belts also added support to jeera prices' uptrend.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 17605 , up by 0.06% or Rs 10.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17595.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 2400 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 17645.00, up by 0.03% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17640.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 16539 lots on NCDEX.
