Jeera futures traded higher on NCDEX as market players engaged in fresh buying in tandem with higher spot demand. Even though, some gains remained capped on higher arrivals of cumin at physical markets.
The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 15065.00, up by 0.67% or Rs 100.00 from its previous closing of Rs 14965.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3105 lots.
The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 15570.00, improved by 0.68% or Rs 105.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15465.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4641 lots on NCDEX.
