Jeera futures trade higher on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded higher on NCDEX on expectation of pickup in export demand at the spot market. Though, some gains were capped on adequate stocks position following higher supplies from producing regions.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 17920.00, up by 0.31% or Rs 55.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17865.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 17331 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 18100.00, up by 0.30% or Rs 55.00 from its previous closing of Rs 18045.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6627 lots on NCDEX.
