Jeera futures trade higher on good demand

Jeera futures traded higher on NCDEX, tracking good physical and exports demands from China and Bangladesh. Besides, lower rains in jeera producing belts in northern Gujarat, also fuelled the uptrend.

The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 19975 .00, up by 0.58% or Rs 115.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19860.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3495 lots.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 20300.00, up by 0.77% or Rs 155.00 from its previous closing of Rs 20145.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6564 lots on NCDEX.
