Jeera futures exhibit mixed trend on NCDEX

Jeera futures exhibited mixed trend on NCDEX, as April contract moved down amid heavy arrivals of jeera in the physical market, while May contract traded up on the back of pickup in demand for good quality new crop.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 16295.00, down by 0.15% or Rs 25.00 from its previous closing of Rs 16320.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 708 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 16440.00, up by 0.24% or Rs 40.00 from its previous closing of Rs 16400.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6216 lots on NCDEX.
