Jeera futures exhibit mixed trend on NCDEX

Jeera futures exhibited mixed trend on NCDEX, as April contract moved up on the back of increased buying as a result of lower output amid lower acreage in Gujarat, while May contract traded lower on account of lower export demand in the physical market .

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 15520.00, up by 0.1% or Rs 15.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15505.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3510 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 15590.00, down by 0.16% or Rs 25.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15615.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2271 lots on NCDEX.
