Jeera futures exhibit mixed trend on NCDEX

Jeera futures showed mixed trend on NCDEX as the October contracts traded lower on expectation of better crop next year from the producing belts, while November contracts traded higher on reports of good demand from up-country buyers.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 17280.00, down by 0.03% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17285.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 11169.00 lots.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 17470.00, up by 0.11% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17450.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6345.00 lots on NCDEX.
