Jeera futures exhibit mixed trend on NCDEX

Jeera futures showed mixed trend on NCDEX as December contract edged lower on improved arrivals from major producing belts while, January contract edged higher on rising domestic as well as export demand in the spot market.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 20205.00, down by 0.1% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 20225.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 14010 lots.

The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 19565.00, up by 0.15% or Rs 30.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19535.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1479 lots on NCDEX.
