Jeera futures edge lower on NCDEX

Jeera futures edged lower on NCDEX on expectation of good sowing for jeera in Gujarat and Rajasthan as the sowing season commenced next month. Though, some losses were capped due to strong domestic as well as export demand at the spot market.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 17325.00, down by 0.46% or Rs 80.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17405.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 8970 lots.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 17605.00, down by 0.42% or Rs 75.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17680.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4839 lots on NCDEX.
