Jeera futures edge lower on fall in demand

Jeera futures edged lower on NCDEX on fall in demand at the spot market. Though, some losses were capped on tight stocks position following lower arrivals from the producing belts.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 17650.00, down by 1.18% or Rs 210.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17860.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 16719 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 17800.00, down by 1.25% or Rs 225.00 from its previous closing of Rs 18025.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6942 lots on NCDEX.
