Jeera futures edge higher on NCDEX

Jeera futures edged higher on NCDEX due to anticipation of improved export demand from the country. Though, some gains were capped on good sowing progress in major producing belts of Gujarat.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 19715.00, up by 0.03% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19710.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 13791 lots.

The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 19450.00, up by 0.31% or Rs 60.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19390.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 810 lots on NCDEX.
