Jeera futures decline on NCDEX

Jeera futures declined on NCDEX, due to offloading of positions by traders, triggered on adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions in the physical market. Besides, reports of good rain fall in producing areas of Gujarat also weighed on the cumin prices in future trade.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 19275.00, down by 0.36% or Rs 70.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19345.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4659 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 19670.00, down by 0.33% or Rs 65.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19735.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4398 lots on NCDEX.
