Gold futures settle tad lower on Friday

Gold futures settled marginally lower on Friday, with the stronger dollar against a bucket of major currencies. Although, losses of the bullion were capped upto certain level on the receding concerns about geopolitical tensions, even if the US Presidents reaffirms that meeting with North Korea's leader could still go ahead.

Gold futures for June delivery settled down 70 cents, or 0.1 percent, at $1,303.70 per ounce, on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold 0.1 percent at $1,303.34 per ounce.
