Gold futures finish higher on Monday

Gold futures finished higher on Monday, as dollar went weaker amid concerns on a potential US recession. Moreover, worries on global economic growth slowdown triggered more safe bullion buying.

Gold futures for April delivery settled 0.8 percent higher at $1,322.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose 0.7 percent to $1,322.70 per ounce.
