Gold futures edge up on MCX

Gold futures edged up on MCX , as speculators created fresh positions on upbeat Global market. The yellow metal also notched some gains in international market as dollar grew strong against a basket of currencies.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 29100.00 up by 0.30 % or Rs 88.00 from its previous closing of Rs 29012.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 742 lots.

The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 29240.00 high by 0.32 % or Rs 94.00 from its previous closing of Rs 29146.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5516 lots on MCX.
