Mentha oil futures trade marginally lower on sluggish demand

Mentha oil futures traded marginally lower on MCX as participants cut down their bets amid sluggish physical demand from major consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 884.90, down by 0.25% or Rs 2.20 from its previous closing of Rs 887.10. The open interest of the contract stood at 1162 lots.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 894.00, down by 0.30% or Rs 2.70 from its previous closing of Rs 896.70. The open interest of the contract stood at 4985 lots on MCX.
