Mentha oil futures trade marginally lower on sluggish demand

Mentha oil futures traded marginally lower on MCX as investors and speculators trimmed their bets in the agri-commodity amid a fall in physical demand from major consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 894.20, down by 0.35% or Rs 3.10 from its previous closing of Rs 897.30. The open interest of the contract stood at 5392 lots.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 906.00, down by 0.24% or Rs 2.20 from its previous closing of Rs 908.20. The open interest of the contract stood at 2235 lots on MCX.
