Mentha oil futures trade higher on pick-up in demand

Mentha oil futures traded higher on MCX, as participants raised their bets on pick-up in demand from consuming industries at the spot market.

The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 1613.00, up by 1.68% or Rs 26.70 from its previous closing of Rs 1586.30. The open interest of the contract stood at 1555 lots.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 1664.00, up by 1.7% or Rs 27.80 from its previous closing of Rs 1636.20. The open interest of the contract stood at 579 lots on MCX.
