Copper futures trade tad higher on MCX

Copper futures traded marginally higher on MCX, due to widening of bets at prevailing lower rates on account of good physical demand from industrial consumers, despite weaker trend in global markets.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 445.95, up by 0.09% or Rs 0.40 from its closing of Rs 445.55.The open interest of the contract stood at 15350 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 449.80, up 0.03% or Rs 0.15 from its previous closing of Rs 449.65. The open interest of the contract stood at 592 lots on MCX.
