Copper futures end lower on Thursday

Comex copper futures ended lower on Thursday. Meanwhile, base metals prices other than aluminium and nickel too drifted lower on the London Metal Exchange, with a slight reversal in the dollar providing some downside pressure.

Copper futures for September delivery shed 0.8 percent to settle at $2.662 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange closed down 0.5 percent at $5,875 a metric ton.
