Copper futures end lower on Friday

Copper futures ended lower on Friday, as uncertainties over the outlook for global growth and this week's burst of dollar strength weighed on prices.

Copper futures for July delivery fell 0.8 percent to settle at $3.064 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange closed down 0.3 percent at $6,855 a metric ton.
