Copper futures end higher on Monday

Copper futures ended higher on Monday on expectations of a trade agreement between Washington and Beijing. Though, concerns over slowing factory activity in the world's biggest industrial metals consumer China, capped some gains.

Copper futures for March delivery rose 0.8 percent to settle at $2.795 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 0.5 percent at $6,168 a tonne.
