Copper futures end higher on Friday

Copper futures ended higher on Friday. While London base metals rallied as disappointing US employment data was not enough to change investors' overall bullish view of the US economy, and after China reported some progress in trade talks with the United States.

Copper futures for July delivery rose 0.2 percent to settle at $3.086 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended flat at $6,826 a metric ton.
