Chana futures trade tad higher as demand rises

Chana futures traded higher on NCDEX, as stock levels in warehouses diminished in line with lower imports and higher domestic consumption. Moreover, the commodity got support as the government placed quantitative restrictions on pulses for next one year.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 4408.00, up by 0.11% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4403.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 14910 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 4462.00, up by 0.18% or Rs 8.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4454.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 88520 lots on NCDEX.
