Chana futures trade higher on NCDEX

Chana futures traded higher on NCDEX on some lower-level buying. Though, sluggish demand in the spot market on expectation of new crop arrivals in less than a month's time, capped some gains in chana prices to some extent.

The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 3497.00, up by 2.37% or Rs 81.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3416.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 101170 lots.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 3558.00, up by 1.05% or Rs 37.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3521.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 79640 lots on NCDEX.
