Chana futures trade higher on MCX

Chana futures traded higher on NCDEX on short-covering amid tight supplies of pulses in the spot market. However, decline in international prices due to expectations of higher pulses production in US, capped some gains in chana prices to some extent.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 3189.00, up by 2.11% or Rs 66.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3123.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 78660 lots.

The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 3224.00, up by 1.96% or Rs 62.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3162.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 39950 lots on NCDEX.
