Chana futures traded higher on NCDEX on account of slack supplies in the spot market against firm demand. Further, decline in crop output too supported chana prices' uptrend.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 3480.00, up by 0.72% or Rs 25.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3455.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 60910 lots.
The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 3535.00, up by 1.64% or Rs 57.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3478.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 72800 lots on NCDEX.
