Chana futures trade higher on diminishing stocks

Chana futures traded higher on NCDEX, due to rise in demand with the diminishing stocks in the ware houses. Besides, lower imports and decreased arrivals from growing belts also fuelled the prices.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 4472.00, up by 0.70% or Rs 31.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4441.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 23600 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 4526.00, up by 0.64% or Rs 29.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4497.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 69700 lotson NCDEX.
