Cardamom futures trade tad higher on production concerns

Cardamom futures traded higher on MCX, due to widening of bets by the market players amid concerns about productivity prevailing high temperature climates in cardamom growing areas. Moreover, firm demand from the spot domestic and export markets buoyed the prices.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 1615.00, up by 0.16% or Rs 2.50 from its previous closing of Rs 1612.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 71 lots on MCX.
