Cardamom futures trade lower on MCX

Cardamom futures traded lower on MCX as speculators cut down their bets amid slide in physical demand for cardamom in the domestic spot market. Further, sufficient stocks position amid rise in supplies from producing regions also influenced cardamom futures.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 1144.90, down by 0.21% or Rs 2.40 from its previous closing of Rs 1147.30.The open interest of the contract stood at 724.00 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 1194.00, down by 0.10% or Rs 1.20 from its previous closing of Rs 1195.20. The open interest of the contract stood at 957.00 lots on MCX.
