Cardamom futures trade lower on higher output

Cardamom futures traded lower on MCX, due to offloading positions by traders, amid hopes of higher output and early commencement of new crop supplies. Further, decline in demand from spot market also weighed on cardamom future prices.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 1089.00, down by 0.64 % or Rs 7.00 from its previous closing of Rs 1096.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 106 lots on MCX.
