Cardamom futures trade higher on uptick in demand

Cardamom futures traded higher on MCX as traders built up fresh positions amid uptick in domestic as well as exports demand at the spot market. Besides, tight stock position on fall in arrivals from major producing regions too fuelled the uptrend.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 965.00, up by 2.13% or Rs 20.10 from its previous closing of Rs 944.90. The open interest of the contract stood at 170 lots.

The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 1036.10, up by 1.91% or Rs 19.40 from its previous closing of Rs 1016.70. The open interest of the contract stood at 313 lots on MCX.
