Cardamom futures trade higher on MCX

Cardamom futures traded higher on MCX, as speculators widened their holdings with the heavy rains in Kerala causing floods in several districts including largest cardamom growing-Idukki. Meanwhile, heavy domestic and export demand also lifted the cardamom prices in future trade.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 1362.50, up by 0.41% or Rs 5.50 from its previous closing of Rs 1357.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 114 lots on MCX.
