Cardamom futures tick higher on MCX

Cardamom futures declined on MCX, as speculators widened their positions counting heavy loses to crop amid recent floods. Besides, improved export and spot demand also fuelled the uptrend.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 1458.00, up by 0.73% or Rs 10.50 from its previous closing of Rs 1447.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 254 lots.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 1484.00, up by 0.62% or Rs 9.20 from its previous closing of Rs 1474.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 7 lots on MCX.
