Wheat Futures Trade Marginally Lower On NCDEX (02-Sep-2010)
Wheat futures are trading marginally lower despite a recovery in the global markets. CBOT wheat futures ended sharply higher on Wednesday, erasing the previous session's big losses, a stronger-than-expected ISM reading restored investors’ confidence. On the domestic front the commodity is likely to witness sluggishness on lack of fresh fundamentals for next few days.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 1226.00, down by 0.08% or Rs 1 from its previous closing of Rs 1227.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 28490 lots.
The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 1244.60, down by 0.27% or Rs 3.20 from its previous closing of Rs 1247.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 19910 lots on NCDEX.
