Soyaben Futures Trades Lower Despite Good Global Cues (31-Aug-2010)
Soyaben futures continue to trade lower on NCDEX, the commodity witnessed some initial gains but soon collapsed due to fresh selling pressure. The positive sentiments from the international market faded with the considerable increase in arrivals in the local markets.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 2034.50, down by 1.14% or Rs 23.50 from its previous closing of Rs 2058.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 113220 lots.
The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 2030.00, down by 1.41% or Rs 29 from its previous closing of Rs 2059.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 73610 lots on NCDEX.
