Refined Soy Oil Futures Trade Higher On Friday

Refined Soy oil futures were trading higher on the back of some short covering after profit booking in previous session appeared due to weakness in the global markets and CPO at BMD futures traded lower. The import of vegetable oils during February 2011 has been reported at 549,881 tonnes compared to 700,769 tonnes in February 2010.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 621.85, up by 0.66% or Rs 4.10 from its previous closing of Rs 617.75. The open interest of the contract stood at 52410 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 630.70, up by 0.49% or Rs 3.10 from its previous closing of Rs 627.60. The open interest of the contract stood at 113280 lots on NCDEX.
