Jeera Futures Trade Range Bound As Buyers Expect Prices To Fall (16-Aug-2010)
Jeera futures are trading tad higher, taking support from the reasonable demand prevailing in the spot market for the commodity.The demand for the commodity has come down from local buyers as they are expecting more fall in the prices due to absence of export demand. However, diminishing arrivals and lower stocks have restricted the downside of the commodity.
The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 14134, up by 0.02% or Rs 3 from its previous closing of Rs14131.The open interest of the contract stood at 3828 lots.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 14545.00, up by 0.23% or Rs 34 from its previous closing of Rs14511. The open interest of the contract stood at 16062 lots on the NCDEX.
