Jeera Commodity Obtain Energy Due To The Drop In Arrivals

Jeera futures gained momentum owing to the fall in arrivals in Unjha amidst improved demand. The speculators also enlarged positions on the reports stating that some buying activities could be reported in the coming weeks at these lower levels as arrivals of better quality crop could lend support to the prices.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 15,115.00, up by 0.78% or Rs 117.00 from its previous closing of Rs 14,998. The open interest of the contract stood at 18,657 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 15,600.00, up by 0.63% or Rs 97.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15,503. The open interest of the contract stood at 17,337 lots on NCDEX.
