Guar Seed Futures Trade Soft On Prospects Of Good Production (20-Aug-2010)
Guar seed futures are trading lower on NCDEX, prospects of good production has put pressure on the commodity price. The good rainfall in the crop growing areas of Rajasthan too was slightly making the sentiment bearish in the market. Though traders are of the view, that rise in demand in coming weeks could support the prices.
The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 2124.00, down by 0.98% or Rs 21 from its previous closing of Rs 2145.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 15940 lots.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 2154.00, down by 0.92% or Rs 20 from its previous closing of Rs 2174.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 180630 lots on NCDEX.
