Guar Seed Futures Gain On Some Lower Level Buying

Guar Seed futures are trading higher as some buying has appeared at lower levels after profit booking brought some dips to the prices. However, the demand remained good and prospects of rising exports in coming weeks are likely to support the prices. Normal monsoon reports could however temper the uptrend to some extent.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 3029.00, up by 0.77% or Rs 23.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3006.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 156970 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 3076.00, up by 0.82% or Rs 25.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3051.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 37950 lots on NCDEX.
