Chana Futures Trade Higher On Improvement In Buying

Chana futures are trading in green as some buying has appeared at the lower levels, though traders are expecting further fall in rates before demand could pick up again. As per 3rd Advance Crop Estimates, Pulses production is estimated highest ever at 17.29 Million Tonnes. This could pressurize rates in medium term.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 2248.00, up by 0.49% or Rs 11.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2237.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 29720 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 2346.00, up by 0.13% or Rs 3.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2343.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 152010 lots on NCDEX.
