Power Grid Corporation s Board Approves Expansion Of Transformation Capacity At Raebareli (25-Aug-2010)

The board of Power Grid Corporation of India in its meeting on 06 August 2010 has approved the investment approval for augmentation of 220/132kV transformation capacity at Raebareli by 1X100MVA transformer at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.57 crore, with commissioning schedule of 18 months from the date of investment approval.
The board has approved the investment approval for supplementary transmission system associated with Vallur TPS at an estimated cost of Rs. 170.36 crore, with commissioning schedule of 32 months from the date of investment approval.
The board has approved the investment approval for Northern Region System Strengthening Scheme-XXI at an estimated cost of Rs. 1677.57 crore, with commissioning schedule of 32 months from the date of investment approval.
Further, the board has approved the investment approval for Split Bus Arrangement & Reconfiguration /Shifting of terminating lines at 400kV Raipur Substation at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.35 crore, with commissioning schedule of 15 months from the date of investment approval.
